Here’s a beautiful adventskalender postcard from my pal, Melanie! I just got back from my vacation in PH and it’s only at this moment that I got hold of the postcards sent to me while I was gone.
I really like the concept of the calendar. We don’t have this in the Philippines, but we do Dawn masses, usually at 4 in the morning, from the 16th until Christmas Day. And when children start going house-to-house and singing carols, then we know that the Happy Day is coming. The anticipation starts as early as September, and so PH is dubbed as the country that celebrates the longest Christmas. Ach, I miss home. 🙂
But Christmas in Europe is also beautiful. Yes, it is much quieter, but where else can you experience a white and glittery Christmas?
Lovely German stamps used, including a Christmas 2015 one! Thank you so much, Melanie! I’m so lucky to be your postcard pal! ❤
