This beautiful card was sent by my old postcard pal, Carola. Who would have thought that I’d get to visit Greece as well? I used to just receive postcards like this. 🙂
My pal spent her vacation in the island of Crete. She wrote how wonderful the place was at that time, with the weather always exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. She swam in the sea and the pools and joined some excursions. Among the places she visited were Spinalanga, the 11km long canyon Imbros Gorge, the Plakias Beach, Knossos, and Heraklion.
I remember, I sent a few postcards from Athens during my vacation, but nothing reached its destination. How disappointing. 😦
